Muslim Religious Exemption for Firearm License Photographs?

Published April 21, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Islam

Updated: April 25, 2017 You can't make this stuff up. TheRebel.Media reporter and gun lover Faith Goldy discovered, quite by accident, a religious exemption to the photograph requirement exists for anyone not wanting to show their face, specifically for religious reasons. It's not new nor is it specifically for Muslims.  It's for any person of any faith who does not want … [Read more...]

Tony Kakfwi Fights Mandatory Minimum 4-Year Sentence for being stupid in public… with a gun

Published April 19, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Common Sense

The inconvenient truth for Tony Kakfwi is that being stupid in public has consequences. Those consequences include a 4-year mandatory minimum prison sentence for one of the charges he faces. Understandably, Tony Kakfwi doesn’t want to go to prison for four years. The cold hard reality, however, is he should’ve thought about that before he fired his rifle near a crowd of … [Read more...]

Thank God for Andrew Abbass and his Lawyer

Published April 18, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Freedom of Speech

In the wake of the senseless killing of Don Dunphy by police over a Twitter message, thousands of people demanded and ultimately succeeded in forcing an inquiry into his death. One of those outraged by the killing of Don Dunphy is Andrew Abbass.  Two days after Don Dunphy was killed, Andrew Abbass tweeted about his disgust with the Premier of Newfoundland and government in … [Read more...]

Tarek Fatah’s Brilliant Speech at Muslims Against M-103 Seminar

Published April 17, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Islam, Sharia Law

Our government insists M-103 is about religious freedom, not ciminializing criticism of Islam, but the inconvenient truth is something quite different. Watch the video below as this inconvenient truth is presented in style by Muslim activist Tarek Fatah speaks out against M-103 and the Muslim MPs who voted in favour of it in Parliament. Tarek Fatah currently faces a death … [Read more...]

My Latest Complaint to the CBC Ombudsman

Published April 14, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Common Sense

Below is my latest complaint to the CBC Ombudsman about their video "Keeping Canada Safe - Guns in Canada 101." That they pulled the video for a day to make two minor cosmetic changes to the on-screen captions is a start, but they have a long way to go.  Their refusal to fact-check is a disgrace to journalistic integrity, of which the CBC clearly has none. To file your … [Read more...]

CBC Backs Down – Guns in Canada 101 Vanishes From the Internet

Published April 13, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Guns

UPDATE #3: TheGunBlog.ca reports the CBC has now re-issued the video on their "Keeping Canada Safe" portal with two text updates and a disclaimer below the video. Not good enough. Keep up the pressure on the CBC to either pull the video completely or redo the segment with accurate information. UPDATE #2: The CBC pulled it from the other link on the CBC website … [Read more...]

Jordan Peterson: It’s not safe to speak and it never will be

Published April 11, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Freedom of Speech

Professor Jordan Peterson made international headlines last fall for his staunch refusal to kneel at the feet of the Pronoun Police. That infuriated the intolerant ones, all of whom insist there can be only one opinion: theirs.  All others must be silenced. Professor Peterson refused to be cowed by those "clouds of gnats" and stood his ground. Despite a 20+ year record of … [Read more...]

TheGunBlog.ca’s Excellent Idea – File Complaint with CBC Ombudsman over CBC Video

Published April 10, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Common Sense

UPDATED: CBC Ombudsman: http://www.ombudsman.cbc.radio-canada.ca/en/contact-us/ TheGunBlog.ca (an excellent website) wants gun owners to file complaints with the CBC Ombudsman Office over all the factual errors in the CBC video "Guns in Canada 101", part of their Keeping Canada Safe series. It's a brilliant idea and one I think we all can get behind.  The CBC is no friend … [Read more...]

MP Bob Zimmer Introduces Private Member Bill C-346 to eliminate firearm license expiry

Published April 7, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Guns

Bob Zimmer, MP for Prince George-Peace River-Northern Rockies, introduced Private Members Bill C-346 on April 6, 2017, to help protect firearm owners from SWAT team raids should their firearm license expire. The first case that popped into my mind was Alberta's John Rew. Instead of the RCMP calling Mr. Rew to remind him to renew his firearms license they sent three SWAT … [Read more...]

BC Creates No Shooting Zones Thanks to Ignorant Shooters

Published April 6, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Stupid Human Tricks

When supposed law-abiding firearm enthusiasts refuse to police themselves, we can't be surprised when government steps in to do it for us.  Worse, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. It's bad when governments crap all over gun owners for the crimes of drug dealers and criminal gangs.  It's entirely another then for them to shut down recreational shooting areas because of … [Read more...]

Ashley Csanady’s Virtuous Character Assassination of Mike Pence

Published April 2, 2017 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Common Sense

If you hate what a man stands for you will do anything to tear him down. That's appears to be the rationale for Ashley Csanady's hit piece on Vice-President Mike Pence in the National Post. In it she decries the fact Mike Pence “never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and that he won’t attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side, either.” In Csanady's … [Read more...]
