An Alberta politician has resigned from the governing Progressive Conservative caucus after being arrested by Minnesota police in a prostitution sting. Mike Allen, the member of the legislature for Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo, was arrested by St. Paul police Monday night. Allen, 51, was in the city attending a midwestern legislative conference. The story on the website … [Read more...]

Justice for Lynn Kalmring — Ex-RCMP Member & Convicted Murderer Keith Wiens to Serve 25 Years

Published July 27, 2013 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Human Depravity, Police, RCMP Hall of Shame, Violent Criminals

Keith Wiens is a despicable specimen of humanity.  He brutally murdered Lynn Kalmring and then blamed her death upon Lynn herself. Wiens attempted to claim self-defense for shooting Lynn Kalmring in the face from approximately 2 feet away, according to expert testimony.  He placed a knife in her hands after she was dead to make it look like Kalmring was the aggressor and the … [Read more...]

A Politician with Integrity? Isn’t that an Oxymoron?

Published July 9, 2013 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Ethics in Politics, Politics

Ask most Canadians today and you will find few who believe a politician is someone they want to emulate.  That’s hardly a surprise.  Politicians on the whole suffer from a lack of integrity. One look at the intentional and unending lying of Liberal Party Leader Justin Trudeau on the issue of speaking fees leaves any rational human being with the feeling they will vomit any … [Read more...]

It took over a week but RCMP Commissioner Robert Paulson finally came out of hiding to face Canadians about the criminal actions of his force in High River, Alberta. Well, he didn’t actually come out of hiding to face Canadians.  He merely published a letter to the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP on the RCMP’s website. He still hasn’t reached down into … [Read more...]

High River RCMP Thieves Stole More Than Just Guns…

Published July 5, 2013 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Courts, Police, Police Misconduct, Property Rights, RCMP Accountability, Rights, Warrantless Searches

It's what we feared all along. After RCMP members broke into the homes of flood victims in High River, Alberta, they stole far more than just guns.  While illegally searching the homes of Canadians without a search warrant, High River's RCMP thieves just couldn't help themselves to a few extra items "since they were there". One female resident is making a unique plea that … [Read more...]

What does a burning Ukraine Police Station and the High River RCMP have in Common?

Published July 4, 2013 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Abuse of Police Authority, Courts, Police, Police Misconduct, Property Rights, RCMP Accountability, Rights, Warrantless Searches

What does a burning Ukraine Police Station and the High River RCMP have in Common? Both police forces have no respect for their citizens or the Rule of Law. In the town of Vradiyevka, Ukraine, roughly 330 kilometers south of Kiev, furious protesters took to the streets after authorities refused to arrest a police officer suspected in the brutal gang-rape of a young woman … [Read more...]

The Right to be Tried by a “Jury of our Peers” is Clarified by Ontario Court of Appeals

Published July 1, 2013 by Christopher di Armani Filed Under: Rights

At first blush the Ontario Court of Appeals ruling that tossed out the manslaughter conviction against Clifford Kokopenace seems absurd. Kokopenace and his lawyer successfully argued that because there were no First Nations people on the jury the trial itself was unfair and constituted a breach of Kokopenace’s Charter Rights. Actually, at first glance the ruling in R. v. … [Read more...]
