Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! (animated)

Merry Christmas to all our men and women in uniform, wherever you may be today.

Just for fun, here is a video of a so-called "flash mob" singing Christmas Carols in a South Florida shopping mall, much to the delight of the mall's customers. Here is the official discriptoin of the video from YouTube

Journey of Faith performed a Christmas "Flash Mob" at the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach on December 18, much to the delight of local shoppers. Thanks to all who participated. Merry Christmas everyone!!

On behalf of me and my wife Lynda, I hope you have an incredible Christmas Day today. Know that even though you may be away from your family today, both they and our family are thinking of you and we pray for your safe return home.

Yours in Liberty,

Christopher di Armani

  1. Thanks, Christopher, for bringing this uplifting Christmas message to the attention of your readers. Me, specifically.

It was wonderful to see hundreds of Californians, or how many ever was the official count, interrupt their Christmas shopping for a few minutes and respond positively to the marvelous voices of the Journey of Faith ‘Flash Mob’ who had come from the Manhattan Beach church a pebble’s throw away from Redondo Beach to perform in the South Bay Galleria.

    It was magical.

No “Happy Holidays” replacement here to apologize for the word “Christmas”; no hysterical changing age-old lyrics such as “Round yon virgin mother and child” or “Christ the Saviour is born” in an effort not to offend somebody’s delicate sensitivities.

    Nope.

    And nobody seemed offended.

Yet there must have been at least one atheist, agnostic, Jew, Muslim or anti-Christ of some description in that crowd. But they responded spontaneously to the joy of singing. Even onlookers who didn’t know the words or were not in good voice that day were enraptured with the beautiful vocals and spontaneity of the occasion.

I assume the security guards and police were just as enchanted as the shoppers, for they did not show up, rough handle and disperse the crowd or arrest anybody during this peaceful display. Bless them. That’s the way they should do their enforcement duties.

Did you notice at the end of the clip the curious young lad furtively come up to Mary and Joseph when he thought they weren’t watching and sneak a peek at the live baby Jesus before running away? If he’d lingered longer, Mom and Dad surely would have been delighted to let the youngster come closer for a longer look.

Speaking of lingering longer, the video gives me heart that Christianity has been built on a solid foundation and is destined to be around for a long time, too, regardless how badly politically-correct Marxist agitators want to destroy morality and family along with our God and religion.

    Ain’t gonna happen!

    Merry CHRISTMAS. In spades.
