Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock or on another planet recently, you’ve heard about young Cody Alicea. 

He’d been flying his flag on the back of his bike for over two months without issue, but a few days before Remembrance Day (Veterans Day) was told to remove the flag from his bike because it might “offend” someone.

The Principal of Denair Middle School asked Cody to remove the flag because of fear of “racial tension”.

It’s the height of political correct stupidity, to be sure.  If honouring our Veterans is an offense, then obviously there is something very, very wrong, and it’s sure not with Cody or his flag. It’s with the morons like this principal who cannot comprehend the most basic human principle of Respect for those who’ve given their lives for us and our Freedom.

Thankfully this stupidity sparked a firestorm of protest from across the country and around the world, and rightfully so. 

The Denair school district reversed their decision on November 12th, but not before becoming the center of the nation’s attention.

The two videos below show the hundred or so bikers and other supporters who rode with Cody to his school bearing flags to show their support for the 13-year-old. The second video shows them arriving at the school and the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag being recited by the crowd.

Thank God for young people like Cody who are willing to stand up for themselves, their Rights, and for common sense… something that seems to have abandoned North America in recent years.
