So much for our Charter-protected rights and freedoms and our “inclusive and tolerant” nation where “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian.”
Now we’re deciding which Canadians we will tolerate based on private, personal medical decisions that are none of the State’s business?
We’ve become a nation of sheep, a nation of cowards who does whatever we’re told by a Prime Minister 100% devoted to “othering” anyone who disagrees with him – a process of dehumanizing through marginalizing a group of humans as something different, less than, and other. Such othered groups become an easy target to scapegoat, unfairly bearing the blame for a society’s ills..
It’s not this way in other countries.
In South Africa, where the Omicron variant first hit, the government no longer views lockdowns or vaccine mandates as effective steps moving forward.

Japan refuses to make COVID vaccinations mandatory. In fact, they insist citizens make an informed decision based on all the knowledge and options available.
Although we encourage all citizens to receive the COVID-19 vaccination, it is not compulsory or mandatory. Vaccination will be given only with the consent of the person to be vaccinated after the information provided.
Please get vaccinated of your own decision, understanding both the effectiveness in preventing infectious diseases and the risk of side effects.
No vaccination will be given without consent.
Please do not force anyone in your workplace or those who around you to be vaccinated, and do not discriminate against those who have not been vaccinated.
El Salvador was the world’s first nation to drop all COVID-19 entry requirements in November 2021.
Mexico—which kept their borders open continuously since COVID-19 hit North America—has now dropped all COVID-19 entry requirements as of January 1, 2022.
In the United States, 17 States have dropped all COVID restrictions or never imposed them in the first place.

In Britain, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on January 19, 2022, that all COVID restrictions will be dropped over the next 7 days.
On January 17th, World Health Organization Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan said, “There’s no evidence right now that healthy children, or healthy adolescents, need boosters. No evidence at all.”
Yet Canada insists on lockdowns, vaccination mandates and, if public opinion polls are to be believed, those filthy unvaxxed should be fined, refused medical treatment, refused drivers license renewals and jailed.
When did we become such an intolerant nation of fascists?
Was it before or after Justin Trudeau called unvaccinated Canadians “racists” and “misogynists”?
Does it even matter?
On January 19th, the National Post proudly proclaimed, “More than one in four Canadians support jail time for the unvaccinated.” That article went on to say,
Many Canadians are in favour of harsh punishments for the unvaccinated, with 37 per cent saying in a new poll it would be acceptable to deny them publicly-funded health care — and 27 per cent that it would be OK to go as far as a short jail sentence.
This comes from a poll by Maru, which states:

- two-thirds (66%) of Canadians favor mandatory vaccinations for everyone aged 5+.
For those who refuse to be vaccinated, Canadians find a variety of measures acceptable, in varying degrees, that might be used to more forcibly encourage them to get the jab:

- ongoing restrictions from entering public spaces and premises such as restaurants, cinemas, libraries, liquor and cannabis stores, and various retail outlets (77%),
- followed by having them pay out of pocket for the full medical cost if they are admitted to hospital or an ICU because they have contracted COVID (61%),
- pay a monetary healthcare surcharge on their taxes of up to $150 per month (61%),
- refuse to allow them access to any publicly funded hospital/medical services (37%),
- refuse them the renewal of their driver’s license (33%),
- and even for some (27%), have them serve up to five (5) days as part of a jail sentence for endangering others/overwhelming healthcare system.
Weaponizing fear used to be the exclusive domain of 3rd-world dictatorships and terrorist crap-holes.
Now it’s “The Great Canadian Way” while the Conservative Party maintains total radio silence on the issue.
Research shows increases in COVID-19 are unrelated to levels of vaccination across 68 countries and 2947 counties in the United States.
At the country-level, there appears to be no discernable relationship between percentage of population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days.
In fact, the trend line suggests a marginally positive association such that countries with higher percentage of population fully vaccinated have higher COVID-19 cases per 1 million people. Notably, Israel with over 60% of their population fully vaccinated had the highest COVID-19 cases per 1 million people in the last 7 days.
The lack of a meaningful association between percentage population fully vaccinated and new COVID-19 cases is further exemplified, for instance, by comparison of Iceland and Portugal.
Both countries have over 75% of their population fully vaccinated and have more COVID-19 cases per 1 million people than countries such as Vietnam and South Africa that have around 10% of their population fully vaccinated.
In Ontario, data over the last week consistently shows about 25% of people hospitalized with COVID are unvaccinated. The other 75% of hospitalized COVID patients are partially or fully vaccinated. Over 50% of all intensive care cases are also fully vaccinated.
The data doesn’t support what Trudeau and his sycophants would have us believe no matter how loudly they scream at us.
There is no “pandemic of the unvaccinated.

Excellent article today Christopher. Our PM does not even think much at all. His buddy Gerry Butts is the one tickling his ear with this idiocy. All the PM wants to do is spend our tax money, and enjoy his reflection in any mirror he comes across. He is not a serious person, and is in way over his head in his position as PM. He got there on his father’s name brand, but he doesn’t have any brains of his own, and is a disaster for Canada and all of us. History, if allowed to be truthful, will not be kind to him in the future. He has created an absolute mess, and there is no way we will get out of it within the foreseeable future. I feel we will have a decade of this dark dystopia.
Got a bit of a story here I’ve waited to share with readers… about myself and my experience with the vaccines.
I am a healthcare worker for several decades now, and have an active lifestyle outside work and been involved prior to healthcare with Military, industry, colleges.
I have received many many vaccines and boosters for many things and exposures that can hurt and kill us, the military gave me some stuff most others don’t get and this was during the times of Biological/Nuclear Cold War.
Bottom Line, I was first in line with my arm out for the first covid-vaccine dose, and thought proudly I am now safe.
But days later I started logging dates and symptoms that were the most unusual and debilitating for me, I am a very healthy guy with a robust immune system but this knocked me down. I was worried, and tried vainly to get the health authorities to document my situation. No one wanted to hear my truth. [ I won’t spell out all my symptoms, plus two covid-like ailments but I came up ‘negative’ on the tests.]
So months later after finally being clear of effects, we are ordered to have our second dose or lose our jobs, careers.
I was very loathe to accept this. Some colleagues left health care rather than submit. [ the media reported this situation all across the country]. I tried again through the public health department and Public Doctor regional department to enter my concerns, but only after I had a sit-down meeting prior to #2 dose monitored closely.
Result…Two days after that second dose more weird unusual debilitating painful symptoms, I really thought I was going to die and had to source some heavy prescripts, bed-bound , and the powers-that-be only wanted to document my “pain and immobility” issue, not all the other oddities.
Others at my work site witnessed my earliest reactions and got very frightened.
The authorities claimed that the inject was given in a wrongful location…?… not, it was monitored closely!
Now here is the gist of it all… a life time of medical and scientific ongoing studies , knowledge, and receiving all sorts of other vaccines in my life, I NEVER got reactions, but this RNA based thing got me bad. I am in that Grey Zone that the government and public health authorities do not want to document nor investigate… I find this troubling.
All drugs somewhere someplace have some kind of effects on some people, and most authorities under objectivity and transparency and safety will make these adverse effects public and strive for alternatives.
Not in my case, and considering that going media public could be a jeopardy I am forced into silence and fear very much a mandated third dose.
The stats say about 18-21% Canadians only accepted one dose …Why? I suspect they had reactions too, and all I ask is that the government and the health powers that be, would get objectivity under their belts and create a vaccine that does not hurt me or others.
The approach I experienced, that left me feeling that I was dying and incapacitated, and essentially ignored by the ‘professionals’, was very unscientific not objective to the wellbeing of me and our fellow citizens.
[ also I have to ask and wonder why Trudeau and Health Canada waited so long until last week to approve and authorize the Merck anti-viral treatment pill that came out months ago? This is another liberal faltering that Conservatives should have picked up upon and publicly denounce ]
Not just the latest Merck anti-viral treatment pill. Any of the other treatments that are known to be effective against COVID too. All are deemed verboten because the Almighty Vaccine will make billions per quarter for the big pharma companies. Saving lives was never the goal, it seems, profit was. It’s sickening.
