How often do we hear some Liberal hack telling us that we must store our guns in a “central repository”? The latest is Liberal Senator Céline Hervieux-Payette who, through her retarded Senate Bill S-231 (now re-tabled in the Senate as Bill S-223) demands that any guns left in the hands of mere citizens must be stored in a central repository.
On the heels of that asinine notion comes a news story out of the Yukon, where someone stole 4 shotguns out of a government office. And that’s not even the best part of the story. The best part is that nobody even knew the shotguns were missing for over a week!
Police in Whitehorse are looking for four shotguns, stolen from a Yukon government office earlier this month.RCMP are not sure exactly when the theft happened, but say cash was reported stolen from the Quartz Road office on Apr. 12. The theft may have occurred several days earlier, police say.
More than a week then passed before it was noticed that the guns were also missing.
Police say all four firearms are Remington 870 shotguns.
No other details have been released.
I thank God that the crazy Senator who complained about RCMP security in Parliament carrying guns was forced to retire recently due when she reached the mandatory retirement age. That doesn’t mean her evil intention of disarming Canada are dead, however. At the moment the bill still lives but is, to the best of my knowledge, “on hold”. If the bill does not find a new sponsor then it will die. To that end I keep praying nobody steps forward. 🙂
As for this whole central repository silliness though, when a government cannot stop thieves from stealing guns from them and, to make matters worse, don’t even know WHEN the guns were stolen, how on earth do they expect we mere citizens to take them seriously?
Remind them of this the next time a Liberal Hack tells you to store your guns in a Central Repository!

sometimes i think all liberals should be kept in a “central repository”…oh wait, that’s probably a little too much like one of FDR’s plans.

I for one would allow that exception…
