At least one Las Vegas police officer has absolutely no class.

A 13-year-old is in a coma after being hit by a car that tossed her 125 feet in the air.  She’s fighting for her life, yet the Las Vegas Police Department is so completely devoid of empathy or common decency that they hand the poor girl’s distraught mother a ticket for jaywalking.

Wow.

Was that really necessary?

It’s not enough that the poor girl is in a coma?  It’s not enough that she got tossed over a hundred feet in the air?

“She wasn’t in a crosswalk,” is their response.

Wow.

Try a little empathy guys.  Maybe pull your humanity out of whatever hole you dropped it into and wear it, if only for a day, just to get a reminder of what it’s like to be part of the human race.

While you’re at it, apologize to the poor mom, Kellie Obong, and tear up the darned ticket.

Show us that you actually have some class, even if it is after the fact.
