Welcome to Obama’s America, where you can say anything you want about Islam, just so long as its positive.  Say something denigrating and, well, the director of “Innocence of Muslims”, Nakoula Basseley (or Mark Basseley Youssef  if you prefer), is living proof that the Obama White House, ever ready to pander to muslim extremists, will get you any way it can.

In Basseley’s case that means violating his parole on a 2-year-old fraud charge and laying some new charges of dubious merit, to say the least.

The man behind the YouTube video “Innocence of Muslims” was arrested on Thursday and was ordered to be held without bail by California Judge Suzanne H. Segal, where she appeared to be the perfect Obama acolyte, taking offence on behalf of the muslim world.

“The court has a lack of trust in this defendant at this time,” she said, adding that he posed “some danger to the community.”

Danger to the community?  You just keep drinking that Koolaid, Judge Segal…

While the lame-stream press keeps trumpeting this as a triumph for justice, it’s anything but that.

Setting aside the apparently dubious character of the man being scapegoated as the instigator of the recent riots around the muslim world, this is a political show trial at its best.  At worst it is America bowing before muslim terror in the vain hope the murderous lunatics will magically spare the cowardly.

While the authorities are claiming he violated his parole and lied to investigators, this kangaroo court has absolutely nothing to do with parole violations and everyone but the lame-stream media knows it.

This is about silencing one man’s voice, of stripping him of his Right to Freedom of Speech for the sole reason that what he had to say in his film offended the one religion we are no longer allowed to offend: islam.

Muslim extremist New Jersey imam Mohammed Qatanani called for the removal of America’s First Amendment of the Constitution and demanded it be replaced by Sharia Law since muslims are unable to control themselves and their violent impulses when their beloved prophet is insulted.  He went on to demand anyone speaking ill of islam be investigated by the government.

 “We, as Americans, have to put limits and borders [on] freedom of speech,” Qatanani, leader of the Islamic Center of Passaic County (ICPC), toldTheBlaze. He explained that while Americans may “have the freedom” to speak their mind, ultimately, they “have no right to [talk about Muslim] holy issues” as it will incite “hatred or war among people.”

In fact, so grave is mockery of the prophet considered, that the cleric – Mohammad Qatanani, who leads one of the largest mosques in New Jersey – even believes free speech that criticizes Islam poses a national security threat to the U.S. and that those responsible should be investigated by the Department of Homeland Security.

It’s a farce.  It’s a travesty of justice and a serious one, but nobody seems to be paying attention to the facts.

The trailer for “Innocence of Muslims” was on YouTube for over 2 months before it was mysteriously able to single-handedly cause world-wide panic amongst muslims on September 11th.

Yes, that’s right.  The trailer was posted to YouTube in July… long before September 11th and the madness that ensued.

While the Obama White House continues its spin that this filmmaker single-handedly caused the islamic world to have a meltdown, murdering 4 Americans in Benghazi in the process, the lame-stream media continues to ignore the fact that even Libyan leader Mohammed Magarief is on record saying the riots had absolutely nothing to do with the film and were planned well in advance of September 11th.

WASHINGTON, Sept 16 (Reuters) – Libyan leader Mohammed Magarief said on Sunday that about 50 people have been arrested in connection with the deadly attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi last week, which he said was planned by foreigners linked to al Qaeda.

The attack on Tuesday in Benghazi came amid protests over a video made in the United States that Muslims saw as blaspheming the Prophet Mohammad. It resulted in the deaths of the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans.

Magarief, in an interview on CBS’s “Face the Nation” said some of those arrested were not Libyans and were linked to al Qaeda, the militant Muslim group that carried out the 9/11 attacks on the United States. Magarief, who became president after the bloody U.S.-backed ouster of Muammar Gaddafi, described others as affiliates or sympathizers.

“It was definitely planned by foreigners, by people who entered the country a few months ago and they were planning criminal acts since their arrival,” Magarief said, adding that some were from Mali and Algeria.

He said the security situation in Libya remained “difficult” for Americans, as well as for Libyans. The United States wants the FBI to investigate the consulate attack, but Magarief said it may be too soon to send in investigators.

“It may be better for them to stay away for a little while until we do what we have to do ourselves,” he said.

Magarief said there was little doubt the assault was planned rather than a spontaneous reaction to the video, citing the fact that it came on the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Nobody’s listening to that truth.  It doesn’t fit into their apologetic spin and like all statements of truth politicians dislike, Obama and his media minions simply ignore it, hoping the American people are truly as stupid as he believes they are.

He came to the world’s attention after his movie, a trailer of which had been posted to YouTube, was highlighted this month by media in Egypt. Violent protests subsequently erupted in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Morocco, Sudan, Iran, Iraq, Israel and the Palestinian territories, with some of them targeting U.S. diplomatic missions.

Obama needs to show the world (read muslim world) that he stands with them.  What he’s showing America is that he is standing against the very principles that America was founded upon.

Obama hates America.

Obama would rather apologize to muslim fanatics, pander to murderers and cower before radical islamic terrorists who murder American citizens and shatter America’s First Amendment than actually stand up, be a man and say,

“This is America.  Freedom of Speech lives here.  Deal with it.”

Shame on him for caving in to muslim extremists.

And shame on the lame-stream media that continues to parrot the Obama Spin Machine, all the while showering him with praise for having done nothing… other than being the most cowardly president in American history, that is.

Jimmy Carter must be thrilled to finally be rid of that title…

 “The Movie That Sparked the Embassy Attacks” is The Daily Beast headline over a story about “The Innocence of Muslims,” the idiotic video that many Muslims (and others) find so offensive. Variations of this headline appear in many places across the Web, and much of the coverage of the ongoing crisis assumes that it was a film that caused this violence.

But the film did not cause violence. Violent men caused the violence. The movie did not spark the embassy attacks. The embassy attacks happened because groups of Muslim men decided that they would attack American embassies. The belief on the part of an unknown number of Muslims that the appropriate response to blasphemy is violence is what caused the violence to erupt.

Such a simple truth… explained so easily that even a child can understand it.

Obama, on the other hand,  will continue to ignore both truth and reality because it doesn’t fit with his “vision” of the world.
It’s time for a new vision this November 6th.
