Sechelt RCMP “feared for their safety” when faced with a crowd of happy kids who just won a soccer tournament.  I guess a bunch of kids with trophies in their hands are pretty scary…  a “routine traffic stop” has now become a major incident between the RCMP and the Sechelt Indian Band, where the traffic stop happened. To put people in their place and show them who’s the boss, RCMP have charged the driver of the vehicle with “resisting arrest”.

Sechelt RCMP say the constables were fully justified in their actions. Aren’t they always. And the RCMP promise “a full investigation” into the matter. Don’t they always.
