Montreal’s two-day negligent discharge shooting spree left a lot of people terrified but thankfully nobody was injured or killed.
On April 21, 2021, Montreal Police received calls about gunshots near the Town of Mount Royal. That evening two Montreal teenagers aged 14 and 16 were arrested and charged for their reckless shooting spree after they were spotted driving down Highway 40.
When police searched their vehicle, they found a loaded pistol that was sent for analysis to see if it matched the bullets found at a car dealership.
Both boys were also remanded in custody and will face charges in the coming days.
Thankfully, nobody was injured or killed while these two idiots sent an unknown number of bullets into a car dealership and possibly other locations.
A Second Gun-Toting Moron?
The day before these two teenagers when on their reckless shooting spree, another dangerous moron shot up an area of Petite-Patrie. Again, police found shell casings but thankfully nobody was injured.
In that case a 47-year-old man was arrested and will face charges for of possession of a non-authorized firearm, breach of conditions, and drug possession.
Why? The Question We Can’t Answer
The first question nobody can answer is why these two teenagers or the 47-year-old went on their shooting sprees with their illegally-possessed firearms.
The two teenagers were too young to legally possess a firearm.
The 47-year-old didn’t have a firearms license.
The second question police can’t answer (yet) is where these three people obtained their guns.
So far, with what little is known about these cases, the best we can do is thank God nobody was injured or killed.
What’s horrifying is the shocking lack of concern for others shown by all three of these criminals.
I’ll update this story as soon as there is more information available…
