Broke the 10K barrier today, and am just 55 words shy of 11K at 4pm PST. Very fun, with many more words to come yet.

There’s still sunshine out my window, for crying out loud!

Today’s writing session was all about the appointment with Lynda’s first surgeon, where we got the news that it was indeed cancer and we had to make a decision about surgery RIGHT NOW because the tumors were so big.

Super fun day, that one. NOT.

Just writing about it brought the tears back. So grateful to be writing this book from today’s vantage point view knowing she made it through, and chemo killed her cancer.

Not sure I’d be able to write this book if that wasn’t the case.

I may add more to this tonight, or I may not. Breaking the 10K barrier on day to feels like a great accomplishment, but part of my brain is wondering…. what would breaking the 15K barrier on Day 2 feel like?
